Summer 2021 and summer 2022, I worked at Terabase Energy, a company that is changing the way industrial scale solar is assembled on site. The first summer I was part of a ~7 person team that was doing alpha development of a mobile factory environment. Here is the press release of that project.

My main project was to develop a prototype of the system that would depalletize the solar modules, then dispense them onto the assembly line.

Our prototype “rover” was composed of brushed linear actuators. I prototyped a control system using brushed motor drives and custom programming of a RC airplane controller.

I am not able to share any details from my second summer at this time.
